Valbella Accommodation
Valbella is located at 1500m in between the village of Parpan and the ski resort of Lenzerheide. The village is a little bit spread out, with a section along the main road which links the villages, another along the northern and western shores of the Heidsee and then some more accommodation on the wooded western slopes.
Although the ski resort is often described as 'Lenzerheide-Valbella', the village doesn't actually have much of a direct connection into the skiing, with only the Valbella draglift offering access to the slopes on the west side of the valley.
However the ski bus circuit between the Rothorn gondola and the complex of lifts on the opposite west side means that this is not so much of a practical problem for skiers.
Valbella has a decent choice of hotels and, for those who are looking for budget skiing, a youth hostel up on the hillside.
